Supporting independent music, one show at a time.

Bowman Backyard exists to support independent touring musicians, so 100% of ticket proceeds go directly to the performing artist. When you buy a ticket, you’re not just coming to a show — you’re paying the people who write the songs and carry them down the road.

How a show night works

Everything to expect
  1. Get your ticket

Tickets are sold through Eventbrite, right here on the site. Prices are set by the artist, and 100% of the ticket goes to them.

  2. Watch for the gate code

24 hours before the show, the gate code is emailed to the address on your ticket. That’s your key to the backyard.

  3. Come early, settle in

Doors open an hour before showtime. Bring your favorite beverage and snacks; we have the tables, the chairs, plenty of parking, and heaters for cool nights. Say hello to the artist, find a seat, and get comfortable.

  4. When the music starts, the talking stops

That’s listening-room mode: conversations pause and the songs take over. You’re welcome to get up quietly, move around, or make a drink. Sets usually run about an hour and a half.

What to expect at Bowman Backyard

Bowman Backyard is an intimate, seated listening-room experience—set in a backyard under the stars. Our shows are designed for those who truly want to listen.

You can expect a respectful, attentive audience, where conversations pause when the music begins and the focus stays on the songs and the stories behind them. This is a space where songwriters are heard and audiences are fully present.
